The ILFA business model combines the best of both worlds for its customers: The in-house production of complex printed circuit boards in Hanover as well as the trade with printed circuit boards from controlled external production. Our Asian partners are personally qualified by our own local office in Shenzhen. Regular audits ensure consistent material quality and smooth production processes. From small batch sizes for samples to large series, we can fulfil any request. This makes us particularly interesting for all electronics companies that do not have their own contacts in Asia.
Wherever inexpensive or less complex printed circuit boards are required, it makes sense to obtain a quote from Asian manufacturers. However, the market there is large and confusing and qualified contacts are needed to clarify the technical requirements in advance. We can offer a first-class support model here, which is guaranteed by our sales representatives, our office staff and our logistics centre in Kirchheimbolanden. Enquiries are sent directly to our sales representatives Simon Höfer, Lars Krämer and Frank Schneider. Here, our customers are in the best hands and can clarify their PCB requirements in person. We then pass the enquiry on to our office in Shenzhen, which makes enquiries with potential contractors and obtains quotations and delivery times. Once a supplier has been selected, a quotation is sent to the customer. If an order is placed, the back office places the order in Asia and, once the technical issues have been clarified, prepares the order confirmation and sends it to the customer.
Goods are shipped from Asia to our logistics centre in Kirchheimbolanden, where they are checked again and then dispatched to the customer on time. Thanks to the close integration of field service, office service, logistics warehouse and the office in Shenzhen, we are able to offer our customers a comprehensive range of services. These include data assessment at ILFA, design review, consultancy services, supplier qualification and long-term supplier development as well as logistics and warehousing, including buffer stock if required. The entire process is carried out in accordance with German law and includes comprehensive risk management, insurance cover, reliability tests and quality assurance. All manufacturers qualified by us have the relevant certifications such as ISO 9001, ISO 13485, ISO TS 14067 and others.
