On September 20, 2024, the 15th Long Night of Careers took place at the HCC Hannover, where around 160 companies presented their training occupations and entry opportunities. We also took advantage of this opportunity, ironed our polo shirts, set up exhibition material, prepared give-aways and made fresh popcorn on site.

There was advice, shop talk, popcorn and give-aways were brought to the people

There were numerous stations where young people could try things out and find out about the professions on offer. We had a soldering station and an electronic microscope so that they could examine micrographs of our circuit boards. As give-aways, we had hundreds of sets containing branded writing pads, ballpoint pens, our self-produced shopping tokens and information material about our apprenticeships. The giveaways and the fragrant popcorn sold like hot cakes, so that at times there was no getting through at our stand. Our trainees, who reinforced the stand, worked hard, held discussions, distributed give-aways and popcorn and generated numerous interested parties for our training and internship offers.

We have taken plenty of time for all interested parties and questions

The mood was great and the event was quite entertaining due to the large crowds

The fair was a complete success for us and we are already looking forward to the applications for the coming training year and the next Long Night of Careers, where we will definitely be back. The organization of the fair was exemplary and the offer was rounded off by two food trucks and various drinks stands. Next, you can meet our “Team Ausbildung” at the “Zukunftsstarter” event organized by the Federal Employment Agency on 4.12.2024. We are already looking forward to presenting our professions to young people again.
