He recently celebrated his 20th anniversary with us and has been with ILFA for almost half his life. But he has retained his ambition and inventiveness throughout. So it’s time to pause for a moment and ask Robert how he has experienced the 20 years of work and the day-to-day business with the printed circuit board: “It’s sometimes amazing how time flies,” he begins looking back. “But I can still remember my start very well. And I can say both ILFA and I have developed very nicely over the years.” In summing up, we naturally want to know a little more.
The weather was perfect for running, the atmosphere was great and you could literally feel how eager the participants were to run together to the finish line. Around 10,000 runners from 410 companies were at the start when, after three years of interruption, they finally returned to the course around the Maschsee lake in the Heinz von Heiden stadium. Of course, we at ILFA didn’t want to miss out!
In July 2022, four new colleagues will strengthen the ILFA team at our production site in Hanover. They will start in the purchasing, quality inspection, grinding laboratory and photo and lacquer technology (FLT) departments. The increase in personnel comes at a good time for us, because we always have exciting tasks and a lot to do.
The training lasted two years and there was plenty of content, both in theory and in practice. Now our two apprentices have successfully passed their exams to become machine and plant operators and are ready to enter the profession.
Sometimes it is not so easy to keep up with our new hires. On 1 June 2022, we at ILFA were once again able to recruit three new colleagues for our production site in Hanover-Anderten. The reinforcement is for our internal sales department and in the production area for the surface technology (OFT) and multilayer departments.
We have done it again: Two new colleagues and three additional colleagues joined our team on March 1, thus increasing our staffing level once again. The reinforcement takes place in the areas of process technology, CAM, FLT, OFT and goods issue.
The new year has started well and after everyone has shouted the obligatory “Happy New Year” to each other, we could also devote ourselves to our daily tasks again. This year, too, we have set ourselves ambitious goals. It is therefore very fitting that a new colleague and three new colleagues are actively supporting us at the Hanover location right at the beginning of the year.
We survived Halloween, we also changed the clock and then suddenly it was Monday again. And we were already looking forward to it, because we were able to welcome four new skilled workers for our PCB production in Hannover-Anderten.
There are straight career paths, there are colorful employment biographies, and there are people who have already done various jobs and nevertheless, or perhaps precisely because of this, know exactly where they actually want to go. Sven also belongs to the later category. For us, Sven is something like the famous Swiss Army Knife: versatile and always there when you need him. In the ILFA operations team, he looks after our machines, the buildings and the entire technical infrastructure.
