As part of the modernization offensive at ILFA, it was time to replace our screen printing table. We were almost a bit nostalgic about it, because it was our oldest machine and had served us faithfully for many years – 37 to be precise! The successor is a modern, three-quarter automatic precision screen printing machine with a 4-column system and a retractable table top.
We survived Halloween, we also changed the clock and then suddenly it was Monday again. And we were already looking forward to it, because we were able to welcome four new skilled workers for our PCB production in Hannover-Anderten.
There are straight career paths, there are colorful employment biographies, and there are people who have already done various jobs and nevertheless, or perhaps precisely because of this, know exactly where they actually want to go. Sven also belongs to the later category. For us, Sven is something like the famous Swiss Army Knife: versatile and always there when you need him. In the ILFA operations team, he looks after our machines, the buildings and the entire technical infrastructure.
Modernization at Hanover-based PCB manufacturer ILFA is progressing steadily: with the placement of an order worth a total of several million euros, the leading English supplier of PCB services and machine equipment Viking Test Ltd. has been contracted to supply state-of-the-art wet machines from the Asian market leader UCE for production.
The apprenticeship is over! Still a little exhausted but visibly relieved, our two graduates are well prepared to start their careers right away.
