ILFA receives recertification as Authorized Economic Operator (AEO)

In order to enjoy privileges under customs law as an Authorized Economic Operator, an extensive audit by customs is required. We recently received recertification and are thus once again officially allowed to carry the AEO logo. This allows us to document to the outside world that we are particularly reliable in both import and export. Due to reduced controls and preferential treatment in customs clearance, the international exchange of goods is accelerated and simplified for us and our economic operators.

At ILFA for 10 years: Tobi Tabel

Whoever works with Tobi in the office always listens to good music, whether he wants to or not. Powermetal and Deathmetal are his favorite music genres and he doesn’t like to listen to anything else. In addition to his passion for hard sounds, he does a good job at our company: As an employee in the technical work preparation department (TAV), he has just celebrated his 10th anniversary with his department at our company.

Viking Test installs new UCE solder resist developer at ILFA

It took about one year and 2 months until the first delivery from the wet machine manufacturer UCE reached us. Now our new solder resist developer has been installed and is currently being run in for production operation. We are realizing this project together with the leading English supplier for PCB services and machine equipment Viking Test Ltd. Their technicians are also supporting us significantly with the installation and setup.

Workplace health promotion: Health days at ILFA

In autumn 2022, we offered the “ILFA Health Days” for the first time. On two days, various measurements and courses were offered in the company, from which the employees could benefit within the framework of workplace health promotion. Both the Techniker Krankenkasse and the Physiopraxis Rückenstark from Hanover were present at our company on these days and had various activities in store that invited people to participate and try them out.

Day-to-day business printed circuit board: Robert Loboja

He recently celebrated his 20th anniversary with us and has been with ILFA for almost half his life. But he has retained his ambition and inventiveness throughout. So it’s time to pause for a moment and ask Robert how he has experienced the 20 years of work and the day-to-day business with the printed circuit board: “It’s sometimes amazing how time flies,” he begins looking back. “But I can still remember my start very well. And I can say both ILFA and I have developed very nicely over the years.” In summing up, we naturally want to know a little more.

ILFA invests in the expansion of its PCB lamination capacities

During the LAUFFER Technology Days, ILFA Managing Director Thomas Michels and LAUFFER Managing Director Christof Lauffer announce a close cooperation, which is sealed with a joint letter of intent. The new investment project, which is part of ILFA’s modernisation offensive, is aimed at a highly automated lamination centre that will sustainably support PCB production at ILFA’s Hanover site.

Higher level of automation Pt. 2: LHMT delivers four more ROBI-FLEX 2×1 to ILFA

In mid-July, we had already received six ROBI-FLEX 2×1 loaders and unloaders from LHMT and integrated them into our production. Now, in September, the next delivery took place and another four of the handling devices were installed in our OFT (surface technology). This has further increased our degree of automation, because now loading and unloading is also fully automatic on our deburring machine and on the palladium line for direct metallisation.
